What the most popular one? I have heard of Fruity loops. And I'm not sure if there is a better one or is it all just preference at the end of the day?

Thanks in advance

just out of curiosity, what makes it the best? more features, or an easier UI than the others?

its the software used by all of the worlds best /biggest producers, it's extremely in depth, tons of features, can take classes on ableton from professional DJs and producers.

Just a great program

Oh I see. Awesome, thanks for the help man, very much appreciated.

There isn't many games out right now for me that really capture my interest and one thing I have been thinking about getting into was just messing around with some beats for fun... it looks fun.

Is there a really high learning curve with how to use the program?

reaper / fl studio are pretty handy to learn as well, especially reaper if you're looking to master real recorded instrumentals with proper gear etc. the learning curve for all the mentioned apps is really high - be prepared to do a lot of youtube/googling until you get a grasp on it. you can find tons of free plugins for these programs on certain old warez forums
