It was some time ago on one of the discovery channels kinda film / slash documentary

Its about a ship getting robbed or wrecked. i think it was 3 or 4 guys that managed to escape on a boat, after sometime in the open sea they finally found a land which turned out to be Sahara desert (rip lel) after wandering in the desert for sometime they finally bumped into some Arabs who captured them so they could sell them later on slave market. Thats as much as i can remember really. I think it must have been like 17th century era

e2: nope... quite a few movies named sahara, dont think anyone of those are it.
