Which chapter and episode number did Luffy’s crew separate to start training haki and stuff? I stopped around there and want to pick back up.

i don't know what specific chapter you're talking about but probably read the manga..
i watch the anime and i have to skip so much unnecessary scenes because pretty slow

They got forcefully seperated at the end of the Sabaody Archipelago arc (episodes 385-405), and their training probably started after the Marineford War arc (457-489). They're back at Sabaody episodes 517-522.
