If you buy a nicer one for even like 400, you won't be right back here needing another new monitor in 2 years tho. a nice 1440p will last probably 5+ easy.

Hp 2009m has lasted 5 years and sitll working
acer h236hl lasted 2 years and still working

I use them a total of liek 16 hours a week at most

I'm not talking about how long it will work. I'm talking about how long you'll like it. 1440p doesn't seem like a huge increase in pixel density, but if you look at same size 1440p and 1080p panels side by side, it's night and day difference.
