Okay to make this short.

The board will not post. The board will turn on and run fans and auxiliaries fine without power the cpu. Once the cpu is powered the system will turn on for half a second then flick off (endless loop).

What I've already done & tried:
Cmos reset
Different cpu cables
All dimm slots
Resetting cables

Before the cpu is ruled out, without the cpu in the board, it will still flick on and off with the cpu socket powered.

So doa or does anyone have any ideas?

Msi z390 gaming pro carbon if it matters

Remove the cpu and see if there are any bent pins in the cpu socket, assuming since its a z390, its intel. Never ending loops are usually cpu problems. Make sure its not a bent pin

It wont have beeps unless you enable that in the bios, which you can't get into.
