this whole thing was because of a buggy AI Suite run that was showing my CPU being stressed @ 9300MHz with 3 cores. this is obviously an impossible number.
the original question was rhetorical. everyone has since switched topics while i was continuing to run and test more auto-OC's.

overclocking via software/automatic system is the most aids thing ever.
