hi,

I had this problem before, but it solved itself with an old wifi adapter, now i got the same problem with new one and i want a permanent solution.

Situation:

I have 1 connection incomming in my house that connects to my router: called: Telenet-8D06C (telenet is my internet provider)

All my devices (macbook / iphone / phone of my girlfriend and even my "old" wireless adapter) work
They all state: "Connected" - "secured" - Internet acces ... internet works fine

But my internet adapter on my desktop is 10 years old ... and not working fast (only 5-10mb/sec) so i bought a new one and i installed it ... after some searching it connected to the internet and i got stable speeds of 70-100 mb/s +

now after i restart my computer it cant find connection again to internet it says: Wifi 5: Connected to Telenet-8D06C - Secured - no acces to internet
i replug my old connector to, and there i still get Wifi 4: Connected to Telenet-8D06C - Secured - Acces to internet

What is the solution here? so the connector is connected to my telenet router.. but somehow i dont get a signal or a stable connection :s

any help here?

thanks in advance

Make sure you have drivers installed for new wireless adapter.

Remove networks 1-5 that are saved.
Readd network and see if that helps.
