Its been a while, and i started playing LOD about 6 weeks ago after several years off (same old story). Anyways with the ladder reset coming i was wondering if classic also does ladder? Are there good generic build guides, most info is about LOD. I assume firewall sorc is still a good basic for mfing in NM mode at least.

I remember way back when before I converted my characters to LOD that the tarnhelm and sojs my sorc had got level requirements, do all uniques have level requirements in classic now? Are there bots?

Is there a better place to post this kind of thread? Also is there an area with just general d2 classic talk?

I think most of us who play classic play ladder, if you are on East you can join our startup. This is the best area for that post, there are level reqs for items, and yes there are bots, they aren't going away, anytime blizz does something, they are back in a week.

The Ladder on classic implies a race to get first the highest level. Unlike as classic, the Ladder on expansion implies more a place to get godly runewords/uniques that don't show anywhere in the other ladders of the realm.



There is no guide for classic smiter listed in this link. Smiter on classic works fine, better than a Zealot because smite doesn't need AR. I know a good smiter on classic needs a barbed shield. Those shields can be dropped in hell chaos and if you're lucky, it can have a bonus to +2 to pally skills.

Classic smite is shit. How's a fucktard like you that doesn't even play the game give advice to people?

Riddle me this fucklord, how does a classic smite deal with physical immunes? Mana burn? Large mobs?
It cant, it just dies. And also killing anything takes forever.
And it loses to every other class in any pvp.

im so glad i made this thread the other day haha. Its entertaining and im learning a little about how classic differs. Is it true you cant get 75% block without twitch?

with pala yes. on other chars with twitch and bone- / grimshield you get max block too. in the expansion you can only get max block by putting stat points into dex.
