All Activision needs to do is Copy and Paste Vanilla WoW and they will have a Banger but i have a feeling they are going to add WoW Tokens to Classic WoW.

Whats your thoughts about this, and don't act like its a dumb idea because its Activision we are talking about.

Of course WoW Tokens don't create gold but it defeats the purpose to go out and grind gold for weeks when u can swipe to win. This would ruin the Nostalgia Feeling from Vanilla wow 100%.
I was just thinking how could Activision ruin Classic Wow, its impossible too if they just copied and pasted the game.

I doubt you will be able to exchange them for gold on the classic servers.

No tokens for Classic!

Since sub is shared with classic and retail, if you want to "play free" you will have to go on your retail account to farm the gold and purchase the token.

Classic should stay classic!

The added features about Loot sharing in dungeons etc is already a big nono for me.

People thinking Classic WoW is going to be Vanilla WoW are fooling themselves. Also : I'd say 85% of people who try Classic won't get past level 20. With the amount of people that complain about leveling now, wait until they realize it takes months to get to 60. And then weeks more to farm your mount lol.

I started in November of 2005, didn't have a lot of Classic before TBC came out, but Classic burned a hatred for non hybrid classes in me that has lasted to this day lol.

On average, it took 200-300 hours to hit level 60. So yeah I guess if you play 12 hours a day you'll do just fine.

In comparison. You can now 1-110 in about 90 minutes with the correct items.

Vanilla Wow is not going to be what everyone thinks it's going to be

Private servers easily farm raids in weeks, which tooks months when it was live

This. The nostalgic memory of Vanilla times, if people even have played themselves back then, is a very deceiving one. The most important factor is that every improvement in the game after Vanilla hasn't been around back then, so one wasn't used to the comfort or change it would provide later on. You can hardly turn back on stuff like that, humans are creatures of habit and hate to leave their comfort zone, even if that added comfort changes or worsens the gaming experience in some way.

I do enjoy the Vanilla content a lot, but actually going back and playing on that level is a damn pain in the butt.

Even top streamers who have been streaming the beta on Twitch are whining. While I'm sure there is a group of people out there that will love Vanilla, I doubt it will be even 10% of the crowd that thinks they will lol.

That being said, I'll be leveling my Shadow Priest so I can Mind Control noobs to their deaths again. That, and being able to control your Hunter pet, are the only 2 things in Vanilla that I miss.
