My biggest bane when starting out hc was cold and lightning enchanted (boss) monsters ^^ Just keep well away from them, unless you have max cold and/or lightning resists and high hp.

if it's your first time stick to a safe class like a trap sin, summon necro, or like a jav zon or something

Don't worry about that, the reason why there are just a few HC games right now is the ladder reset.
There are usually tons of games after reset and this will last for some months, im sure you will enjoy playing HC in public games on friday.

If you want to start with bowzon, let me know ^^ I'm trying to get as many as possible to start with bowzon and stick with that for a long period of time as a group.

I wouldn’t mind, can’t start till Saturday morning though
