I thought it would auto play

i have a question about mtgo. perhaps someone here could help me out with the answer

what i'm wondering is, how would it be possible for an mtgo vendor or one of their automated trading windows to know the creation date of your mtgo account?

reason i'm asking is because i saw on one site that your account needs to be a certain age in order to trade with them but how could they even know?
