From a previous discussion, I am going to test out your formula for charm, I believe it needs to be altered to:
[Base x 0.95] [1+ (total intelligence / 100] [1+ (XX% ee / 100)]

Wind [Base Damage from Portal ] using your formula with 120 int / 120% ee (simple)
[base] [2.15] [2.2]
Level 45
Spell Damage:
Min: 24 = 113.52 (113)
Max: 108 = 510.84 (510)
Total: 113 - 510

Wind XII [Base Damage from Profile Marketplace ] with full 120 int / 120% ee (simple)
[base] [2.2] [2.2]
Level Req: 45
Spell Damage:
Min: 22 = 106.48 (106)
Max: 102 = 493.68 (493)
Total: 106 - 493

On Market For: 15.00 fg
Ends in: 6 days

Wind [Base Damage from Portal ] using the example at top with full 120 int / 120% ee (simple)
[base x 0.95] [2.20] [2.2]
Level 45
Spell Damage:
Min: 24 = 110.352 (110)
Max: 108 = 496.584 (496)
Total: 110 - 496

Not sure, but I believe that the section using -5 in your formula is incorrect.

The -5 in the formula is correct but the *0.95 factor is not correct.

a 45 wind with 120int and 120ee will show:
113-510

(min/max dmg) * 2.15*2.20 (rounded down afterwards)

if you watch gear on the market place in the profile, they are on NO char. That means that the int is 0. so if you calculate -5 you come to a factor of 0.95. That factor works only in the special case of items being on the market place. in general only the formula

Base x [1+ ((total intelligence-5) / 100] [1+ (XX% ee / 100)] is correct

Ah thanks Alex :) I read this last night but was too tired to respond. Basically, Alex said everything I was gonna say, so now I don't have to

Think formulas need reviewing, so, maybe this will work:

((20 x 0.95 [round down]) x 1.05 [round down]) x 1.13 [round down] = 21
((24 x 0.95 [round down]) x 1.05 [round down]) x 1.13 [round down] = 25
Total: 21-25

Wow... guess this could be the method of calculating how the Profile Marketplace view works. This needs some figuring out. Guess the game view [character screen] shows it differently... but, it may NOT be the true amount.

Alone by judging what you highlighted, i can see that you didnt understand how things work. If the charm is on the market place, there is no char that could be boosted by 5int.

in this case it would be simply:
20* 0.95 *1.13 = 21 and
24* 0.95 *1.13 = 25
(just 2 factors.. one coming from int-5, the other one coming from ee.

--> 21-25

Also a small advice: if you want to calculate and check formulas, take higher charms/higher ee.. so the chance for a mistake by using the wrong formula is lower.

You can beleave me. The formula that we statted is right. The game view shows something different as it calculates your int on the char into the stats.

Another example:

This is from your hc paladin with 55int:

Rare wild heal XIV
Level Req: 55
Heals: 31 to 319
Mana Cost: 109

+52% Enhanced Effect
+30 Strength

Just calculating the higher stat (lower one should be clear):

base 140
int multiplier: 1,5 ((55int-5)/100)+1
ee multiplier: 1,52

--> 140*1,5*1,52=319.2 -->319

I was re-evaluating where my mistake was, you pointed it out. I came to that same conclusion as you posted. Initially, I was discussing formulas with BWComformity about armor defense,

Comparing Portal information vs White items on MP you come up with a different value (only noticed by viewing Profile Marketplace)... now, as you stated, on the MP, it does NOT show any Intelligence modification, thus you still have to use the same value of ;X multiplied by 0.95 to come to the same calculation when using the PORTAL information. Now... why does it come from the stat and not the base, shown in the PORTAL.

amber scale armor [Profile MP]
Level Req: 25
Physical Defense: 7 to 30
Magical Defense: 7 to 22

On Market For: 3.00 fg
Ends in: 5 days

amber scale armor [PORTAL]
Level Req: 25
Physical Defense: 8 to 32 [8 x 0.95] = 7 to [32 x 0.95] = 30
Magical Defense: 8 to 24 [8 x 0.95] = 7 to [24 x 0.95] = 22

Using the same items posted, and both formulas using +30 Int / +30 vita / +120% enhanced effect

amber scale armor [Profile MP] ... Note: can use full int / str since 5 has already been removed from the totals.
Level Req: 25
Physical Defense: 7 to 30 = 20 to 85 [ (Base x 1.3) then 2.2 ]
Magical Defense: 7 to 22 = 20 to 62 [ (Base x 1.3) then 2.2 ]

On Market For: 3.00 fg
Ends in: 5 days

amber scale armor [PORTAL]
Level Req: 25
Physical Defense: 8 to 32 = 22 to 88 [ (Base x 1.25) then 2.2 ]
Magical Defense: 8 to 24 = 22 to 66[ (Base x 1.25) then 2.2 ]

As you can tell, there is a difference. This is where the initial dispute comes from... which is the TRUE value... those viewed from Profile or playing LS, or from the Marketplace [viewed via profile]? I have also noticed that in game, I don't hit minimum/maximum damage / heal when I am gaming, it has always been less unless a critical hit has been triggered.

The same -5 modification like charms also count for armors. So you always have to calculate the vita and int -5

So your correct maths would have been:

base def x 1.25 x 2.2

(for 30vita/int and 120ee)

and

base def *0.95*2.2 on the profile mp (not being locked on a char checking the mp)

if you check items from a char on the mp, you will always have your own stats calculated into the defence. if you check an armor from the profile on the mp, you always have 0 vita/int resulting in that factor of 0.95 as -5int/vita is calculated
so there is no dispute atm ;)

dmg in game is a different story.. there is another hidden factor added for the actual dmg that you deal in game. that factor is bigger for axes than for swords and dagger to compensate the ratios.

The only thing on which i am still struggling is the calculation of the weapon dmg with the ratios.. (so if anyone knows something feel free to post).

I have to rephrase it so you may [optimum word: MAY] see it from a different perspective. Note: Not talking about damage, but, you have agreed partially with me, now looking at Charms / Armor [only], you have stated the stats intelligence and vitality (vitality referring to armor, not charms) are the ONLY area of the formula that YOU use is correct. Problem is this, the BASE and the formula you use, and the formula I used give a DIFFERENT result BECAUSE of the ROUND DOWN factor in the formula.

Your formula USES the round down calculation AFTER intelligence and / or vitality is used.
The formula I explained rounds down AFTER the BASE ITEM is used. (Note: which is reflected in the PORTAL versus the PROFILE MARKETPLACE)

As for viewing the difference of an item in your Inventory, on MP in game, or looking at it from your Profile (not MP) shows the intended stat calculation either damage / heal or defense, UNLESS that item is NOT worn BUT has a stat modifier. YOU have to equip it to show it, so when using a formula or calculating it, you have to use the proper formula.

Another way to rephrase it is this:
"When does the ROUNDING of the formula take effect? The BASE item or the STAT?"

The final result is always rounded down. So 15.7 to 25.4 defence will be 15 to 25 for example. Calculations first (stat;ee factor), then rounding at the end.

The formula that i use is always correct. No ifs and whens. Viewing from your char takes your stats into account, viewing on the mp from the profile simply takes no vita/int from any char into account since the items arent sitting on a char.

When does one use the formula? YOU argue that it is based on stats, Intelligence (charms), Intelligence & Vitality (armor) and Strength / Dexterity (weapons), I don't dispute these facts.

Now, go to the Portal for the BASE information of each item, charm, armor or weapon per Tier.
Now, if you were to SELL those items on the Marketplace BEING white items, view them from your PROFILE marketplace, YOU will see the true defense (ignoring all stats).
Now, if you use the formula you use, you would have to ADD 5 to the STAT section of your formula, yes or no? to find the BASE value represented in the PORTALS?
Based on the previous 3 sentences, the ONLY way to make your formula work, is to add 0.05 to a WHITE item (maybe even base value) viewed from the Marketplace for a TRADERS marketplace (which is normally linked in the TRADE section)

Now... when I go to TRADE section of LS, and a person LINKS their MARKETPLACE items for sale, YOUR FORMULA IS INCORRECT... now what formula should I use?

EDIT: rephrase, if I view an item from another persons Marketplace, I have to add 0.05 to the base item and then 0.95 (or -5) from the stat value because the rounding factor from base item reflects the difference in outcome.
