have an 03 Duramax gmc longbed

looking to life the front 1 1/2in or 2in and put some bigger tires on.

is a level kit best? someone at work mentioned torsion key might be best way to go?

if anyone has experience with this kinda stuff, any advice helps. thx fellas

I wouldn't personally but for that level of a lift 99% of them are just key'd up.

It'll ride like a lumber wagon but w/e

thx for info bud.

i'll probably keep it stock. 285's are just barely to big in front.

maybe just some new tires and wheels then.

You should be able to run a 33" tire without doing anything (aside from some bro wheels with a 3 foot offset)

Cranking the keys up a little bit wont kill you. But when you start going 2-3" with just keys you start putting the suspension geometry pretty far into it's travel on oem parts.

I'm not even sure what is out there for these anymore. There used to be one of the cheap-o companies that made a kit with keys and upper control arms, sway bars, and tie rods that worked well and put everything back into reason again.

I wonder if it is possible to crank the key up about an 1inch. 285 rubs just a little bit on front.
but yeah I hear ya, seems like only stuff available is after 2010 for GM trucks anymore :P
