The low value probably has something to do with the fact that ZvZ is a boring, trash matchup for boring, trash players.

No demand for shit build = no demand for shit item

some rando cookie cutter zealot with EDC might do ~7700 damage per hit, but slap a grief zerker in its place and he does ~9000 per hit.
To use an EDC, you have to consciously take an already bad build and make it worse by calling the best weapon BM and then duel the only people who bother making zealots but have superior godly fools rares that are still worse than grief, but better than EDC

if you build right you can get similar performance from both, 2-3 shotting other zealers eith both grief and edc.
