The Ls argument is pretty much invalid for me, for one reason.
You can have only 3 topics active in the top 50 and until they fall down from Top, quite a few hours/days need to pass, so you technically can have only 3 active topics at all.

While the Diablo II Trading Section is way way more active. IF it would be implemented then it would be more useful for other sections and not for the Ls one.

I like how it is and vote against this suggestion, i pretty much agree with FreeUsername, it would be easier for people to get their +1 and just bump random topics without any trading intention.
The flood control is there but you still have to go to your topic and press the Bump button, your suggestion would make it one step easier.

It will only allow user to violate the top 50 rule.
With your suggestion if for example I had 10 topics in USEAST and I can bump them all, I can just press the button easily ( lets ignore the flood control for a second ) and spam my topics in the top 50.
If everyone will do it, it will create chaos.

You would still be subject to the 30 second post restriction.

But anyone can easily break the rules even now.
Because if you have 10 topics, nothing is currently preventing you
From bumping them all...
Just like now, you would have to be smart and continue following the rules
If it was implemented, it would be useful for people like myself with topics in LS trading, and in the d2 forums.

How about, as long as you have 4 or 3 topics in the top 50, the other buttons are grayed out??

I say ya.. and move bumps to 2 hours..

I'm not sure how much work it would take,
but to completely stop the problem of having too many topics in the top 50
It could be made where users are prevented from creating or bumping topics in any forum where they have the max number of topics in the top 50

The bump button is good enough for me,D2 section is only place I could see use but even then just make a larger ft list instead of multiple topics interest in one item will bump your whole list and give more exposure
