You can't get banned for being here and posting your name as long as you arnt using your FG for trading.

And as for finding people here to help is a long shot. Just post yourself on the guild forums of the poe webpage and join one there to quest with.

I really doubt it's that simple.
They can't monitor your fg traffic so it's impossible for them to tell if you trade here or not.
It's safe to assume that a person trades here when he posts his ign publicly on this forum, for them at least.

it's not safe to assume someone is the person whose username they post on d2jsp. Otherwise I or anyone else could post someone elses character name on here and they would actually be at risk. That's just not how it works, use common sense.

Well, i never even posted in the trade section except for 2 or 3 pricechecks and i have been playing since open beta. Guess my username on PoE.

In the end you have to be reported to GGG with atleast some kind of proove of trading vs FG, but i doubt even that will get u banned the first time.
