Don’t judge! I’m working on losing weight. I calculated my calories and macros and stuff. I picked tht I work out 3 days a week. So if it says my deficits calories are 2000, is that on workout days only, or even days I don’t work out

If you need 2000 kcal on work day maybe you need 1800 on rest so yep eat less

However ur body maybe more efficient and that calorie deficit is not as accurate. So don't be discouraged if it takes longer

E: follow your bmr for the calories you should be taking in. If you’re trying to lose weight, cut 250-500 cals.

450g in 1 lb of fat.. 450*9 (cals per g of fat)/7=about 500 cals per day for fat loss.

Did you do this through an app of some sort? (MyFitnessPal) if so did you calculate your exercise or activity level when inputting the data to determine your goals? How much do you weigh? 2000 seems pretty low for anyone that isn't a female, even during a dieting phase, the lowest i went was 2,400 and I was still 200 lbs and was effectively losing weight.



Always try to stay as close to the threshold of your deficit as you possibly can with as much food as possible, when you plateau rather then decrease calories more, increase cardio.
