So I bought these headphones that have a built in mic on the cable itself.
I tried connecting it to the audio port, I can hear everything perfectly but no Mic signal is picked up.
I searched online and found a solution that's a Y splitter cable that so I can plug the jack into the splitter and splitter goes into both mic and headphone port.
I was wondering if there's any other solution to this that wouldnt require me to order a Y splitter online and having to wait for it to come in the mail from China which would take 2/3 weeks

I'll be donating rest of my fg to someone that successfully helps me with this! :P
Thank you!

No need for fg :D

Seems like based on all my research these 2 things seemed to be the most helpful. You probably have already seen them. The splitter seems to be the only way if you want to have both functions.

My guess is this technology is becoming standard but the software behind it isn't caught up yet. Normally adapters are needed for outdated technology but in this case the world isn't completely ready yet :d .

Can order one on Amazon, instead of getting from China

Unless you only have $0.50 in bank? Lol
