My city is full of homeless people. Some of them are nice, while others lack any form of respect and are leeches. I was wrapping a truck last summer and two guys came up to my boss and I asking for money. He was reaching for his wallet thinking maybe they needed food or something when they flat out said they planned to buy cigarettes. I am quite hesitant about helping them with anything other than food itself.
Also doing a good deed should be its own reward. Others should be able to do them of their own volition without parroting someone else. We live in an age where unless someone does something first nobody will do anything. I hope someday in my lifetime this changes, but I have my doubts.
“It should be its own reward”
That’s how you feel. I don’t think a person in need getting helpmrrally cares if it’s some publicity stunt. They need help and are getting it
You’re negative man are you sure you don’t hang out with white people?
