Hey guys, can anybody help me as Im getting my Google Chrome push notifications very delayed? (2/3 hours late)
Most come instant but once in a while, I get random old notifications from topic replies or fg transfers made hours ago..
Any info on this?

Thank you for the response but that seems to be a android solver, sorry I wasnt specific that I'm using google chrome on my pc, running Windows 10

Ohh ok sorry, I thought it was with your phone. I started seeing the same issues ever since chrome on my phone updated. I'm unsure why there would be the delay on your pc tho. They always come instantly for me.

Maybe do an “Advanced” history clear and re-enable the push settings on Jsp? Clear all cookies, cache, history, logins, etc and then log back in and give it a shot.

I run into this problem sometimes because I have multiple notifications through chrome and the pipeline gets a little backed up from time to time. This usually fixes the issue for me but each situation is a bit different, gl.

Chrome (since 6 or 7 versions ago) has had delayed notifications on both the PC and android devices. It's extremely annoying, but I'm not aware of any fix to make them consistently "instant" at this time. I'm guessing it has to do with "optimizations" they made related to battery/performance, as it tends to be delayed when you're not actively using a device with them enabled.

anyways, that's understandabl on android phones and whatnot but even when I'm active on my PC it only shows up a while after, however this only happens from time to time, sometimes they even repeat themselves, which is weird.
Not a crucial problem that I can't live with it but would be nice if it worked very smooth

This was part of the impetus behind baking them directly into the site; the reliability of them externally has gone completely downhill to a point of absurdity. At least when you refresh the site, you're guaranteed to have them delivered and notified properly.
