Well I guess the plus side to this Warren saga for Democrats is that she may have blown her presidential chances so hard that we don't have to see her lose to Trump.

Anyone they pick is going to be extreme left and unlikable to the general public. It's pretty much inevitable since anyone that's moderate who would actually stand a chance in a general election will never get DNC support or the superdelegates needed to win the primary.

As sad as it is, I think Bernie may have just been the best chance the Democrats had, but they blew it since "it was her turn". By 2020, the guy will probably be even more senile than before and will more likely be in a nursing home than at rallies.

I would put my money on Biden.

He's the only logical one (right now) that has a chance to beat Trump. He's very likable, has the Obama factor working for him, and is close enough to the center to pull middle of the road voters away from Trump.

Definitely need someone more amicable than Donald (which isn't that hard to do honestly). Otoh, a younger upstart might make some waves, Trump's age might be more of an argument in the next election.

Yeah I think a young guy may be a good strategy. He could then at least pretend to be relatable to young people, a feat which Hillary failed miserably at.
