I swapped my 1600 for a ryzen 2600x but now my temps are rocket high with the same setup.. motherboard temps stable at 30-35 but the cpu is over 80+ just on my main screen... in bios I get 40-45c

Any ideas ?

Did u remove old thermal paste and apply new? Then correctly installed the CPU fan so it's flush against the chip?

Probably just software blip.

You have afterburner? Turn on the statistics tuner and run the cpu OSD while gaming and monitor peak temps that way.
