Built a mini itx build a month ago, thinking I could just use my old gpu to hold me over til 2000 series panned out. Turns out it was too long so I'm just using my old PC and have a new built pc with no gpu

Now 2080s came out, should i wait to see if i can actually find one that fits in my PC, or just go 1080s (ti)

Might want to consider a used 1080 Ti, if you can find a reliable source somewhere.

If you're not gaming at 4k, 2080ti is honestly overkill. 2080 and 1080ti are pretty similar in performance, however 2080 will use less power if that matters since ITX. Small cards will inevitably come out, but it may be 2019 by the time they are available; so it's up to you if you have the patience.
