if you are really new on poe first play at least 1-2 month to get the basics, this game is way more complex then d2 ...

and not compareable to wow

... after all pvp is not that great in poe, i personally don´t mind, pve offers so much to do ...

pvp is absolute shit, especially compared to d2. and as a mid to upper class pvp player in d2, these are the things that will annoy you the most if you liked d2 pvp:

1) no (usable) teleport like in d2
2) duels are way too controlled, you cant randomly pk people out of town, arena is limited in size
3) your skill in dueling doesnt matter nearly as much as gear or your main skill gem does

here is the real reason people from d2 don't like pvp in poe:

1) there are no triggers - no auto target, no chicken, no farcast etc..
2) you can't run to town and then come back out and back stab people, then tell them to get gud
3) no spammable full juvs
4) no teleport.. (which is a good thing, but don't tell that to shitty duelers)

/e really the only super annoying thing about poe pvp is you can't pick who you are dueling (if there is a way please let me know) you just join a pvp que and you might get matched up with who you are trying to duel with...
a lot of skills are not well balanced for pvp and for the most part there is a specific class of skills that far outweighs the others, however if you build against that you are then extremely susceptible to everything else.

to talk about this ... pretty sure poe pvp has way more duel "partners" where one can not even harm the other ( or the other can mitigate the incoming dmg completely ) and just gets ripped to pieces ...
because this game offers so much more bandwidth ...

d2 ok ... using absorb stuff ... but from my d2 experience i could not imagine something completely unkillable combos like i imagine for poe ( especially when the legacy ES stuff comes into game )

i feel like you are saying the same thing I did but trying to argue.
that is one of the things about poe pvp that is a turnoff, its either you dont do any damage to each other or you are insta-gibbed. and there isn't really a way to build around it for everything, its just one or the other.

i know of literally zero good d2 duelers that didnt like enigma and its teleport eni was the item that singlehandedly made d2 pvp so good if you think otherwise, i am sorry but you are not a good dueler

I think Lis didnt care about enigma since she used to just townshoot with her fire sorc, and thats what i call a good dueler
