I got this item right? but I need blue sockets on it (5) and (1) red
vorici calculator tells me that average is 76 times roll paying 120 chromatics each time

thing is, I have perfect resistances with the helm I just bought, if I changed my armour, it will fuck up my cold resistances so I will have to buy another gg helm (one I have is 30ex worth)
do you think I should go for it?

Make it 3 socket, force 3 blue with vorici. Then roll the 4th and 5th with vorici sockets to blue, then roll the 6th red.

How much could that cost?

Its kind of impossible to make 5blue on str armour. Or will it take forever

13 per try for the 4th socket
80 per try of 5th
Then 300 for 6 soc

You'll probably spend a decent amount but it's the most efficient way

At first i doubt you will get it with 76 chromatic rolls
But then its all about luck.

And it is possible using the vorici off color trick. It will be expensive.

Start with 3 sockets (not with 2 as in the YouTube video)
Color them all blue (120 chromatics)

Start making the 4th socket using the trick
every try and undo will cost you 13 jewellers

Start making the 5th socket using the trick
every try and undo will cost you 80 jewellers

Keep the red socket for last will cost you 350 jewellers (if unlucky you get a blue or green and have to do it again )

I make my Bronn's Lithe (evasion armour) with off color sockets every season this way.
And there is no difference by getting off color on strength based or evation based armours.

concerning your particular item : vorici 3B has the lowest average cost at 8900.6 chroms
