You guys should probably work on your mobility if you can’t even squat naturally...

Can’t squat naturally with body weight but throws 300 pounds on back and thinks it’s okay.

Who the fuck cares as long as they're not doing it with horrible form? I have plenty of friends that cant get into great position for a body weight squat but have a 600 lb meet squat.

This aint curves.

e: still should work on mobility though.

Because that usually means you’re loading the joint in a way that it wasn’t intended for.

You can nitpick form forever. At some point you just do it.

I can agree to that. I’m referring to a subclass of people who aren’t capable of a body squat that can move serious weight effectively without injury. There are plenty of people out there like that.

Fuck this, no more low bar squats, was just doing light sets of 225 with the stupid rack positions, lower back is in so much pain, untracked it weird couldn't get back right, bar feels like it's slipping off. Gonna do ankle flexibility exercises everyday and just do front squats alternate with sumo dls

Sure, but loading a joint in an altered position with poor form is a lot worse than just poor form.

Sure, but that sounds like they’ll be in trouble in later stages of life. Use it or lose it and if you’re already starting at an altered position that can’t be ideal.

Everybody is in trouble in their later years.. If sciatica doesn’t get you, a slipped disk will.. Arthritis, brittle bones, fake joints...

There’s people like Louie Simmons who made it till they were almost 70 before an injury made them stop “he had an 1850 lb total at 63”, than there’s Joe Schmoe who herniated a disk picking up a bag of groceries..

Injuries are waiting for everyone bruh.
