Whisperer were introduced there. When rosita and Eugene were hidden in mud you could hear them whisper "don't let them get away"

writers are trying way too hard to make everything so emotional, it's all useless fluff at this point. Almost like they hired Soap opera writers lol

Pretty sweet intro to the whisperers. I'm a little bummed that they killed the character that they did to do it though.

The whisperer arc is actually turning the show around compared to the previous season. Though I hate how badly they nerfed jesus and charged his story. He wanted out because of out due to how terrible gimple treated his character, so kang gave him a proper out so he could go do his own thing.

He's alive and a main character in the comics. Gimple neutered him and denigrated him to the B team when he's an A lister in the story. He didn't even get his badass fight with the saviors and negan during all out war. The new showrunner gave him a good send off compared to how gimple treated him.
