And I'm nervous. Naturally. Since April 2018, I've ran a hand full of 5k's, I've done a sprint triathlon, a 30 mile bike race, and have been running at-least twice (mostly 3-4) times a week.
But I'm nervous.
I guess it's something that I've never ever done before, but more importantly, something I've never proven I could do. I've never ran 13 miles. I've never even ran 6 miles.
It's like going into a test where not only do you not know what's on the test, but you're not even sure if you're prepared for whatever questions you think are on the test.
It's a weird feeling, I guess I haven't challenged myself in a really long time. With the Sprint triathlon, I've biked 15 miles before, I've biked 15 miles before one hundred times. I've ran a 5k. I've swam a 1/3 of a mile.
I've never ran 13 miles.
But I guess I'm ready right now as I'll ever be for tomorrow race, my right calf is a little tight and I'm going to try to stretch it a good bit tonight, as long as my mental space is clear, I'm good to go!
Wish me luck, and any tips you have to offer would be greatly appreciated!
Cheers
