It's not a display bug in this case, the damage is really that low. The damage calculation for 2-handed weapons is a bit silly, and those clowns used it for 2-handed swords as well.
On that sword the ED roll for minimum damage is between 68-71 while the ED roll for maximum damage is between 71-73. It's the Lord's prefix, also responsible for the +110 AR.
(Minimum and maximum get separate rolls in earlier patches.)

If you plan on playing a later Classic patch, then you probably want to keep an Exec with a min damage of 80+ or a max damage of 140+.
Forwarded items keep their affixes, but will use the damage calculation of the newer patch. So an Exec that has shit damage in 1.00 could become something godly in a later patch. If you know which affixes it spawned, then you can estimate the damage it will get in newer patches. Yours would be something like 84-149 in v1.14.

these gloves are nice, almost max defense and high str/dex. If I recall correctly, 9 str / 14 dex is maximum that can spawn on gloves nowadays.


and this grand crown is pretty nice as well.
2 min damage on helms/armor doesn't spawn anymore and is really nice for barbs/amazon
plus the defense is a high roll

The good thing about the Prismatic prefix on Ring is that it always rolls +15. It was later replaced by the Scintillating prefix rolling +(12-15).

I remember now, there was a time when Blizzard failed to spell War Gauntlets correctly (missing t)...
In fact double fail on that pair since they're failed unique (quintuple durability), too

Current maximum values - using LoD here for comparison:
+15 to Strength on gloves/gloves/gloves from the of the Giant suffix.
+20 to Strength on gloves/gloves (Immortal King's Forge War Gauntlets, Steelrend Ogre Gauntlets... note: both spelled correctly ).
+15 to Dexterity on gloves/gloves from the of Precision suffix.
+20 to Dexterity on gloves from the of Perfection suffix.
+20 to Dexterity on gloves (Immortal King's Forge War Gauntlets).

I am planning on doing a 1.03 WT since that is what my original game came with. I have a question on cow runs. I was on youtube and watched a 1.00 Sorc farm the king repeatedly. Am I able to make the portal in 1.03 after killing the king like I saw in those videos? It seemed like they weren't using a plug in but I'm not sure.

Edit: I never got around to thanking you pyropunk for the 20 forum gold when we chatted about the 1.07 patches. I only play single player so I have no read need for it and was saving it to do something similar to what you did. If anyone can give me a good answer about making the portal after killing the king in 1.03, I will pay it forward like pyropunk did. BTW those Death Brogues look like a killer king farming item.

I believe that in 1.02 they changed it so that you can no longer open the portal after killing King. I'm afraid you're out of luck @ 1.03.

Oh no Does anyone have a good patch of 1.00 they would be willing to share so I can enjoy punishing the king on the vanilla version? I am trying to think how much I can give Fruit for the helpful tip and the rest can go to the bringer of 1.00. Would 5 FG be okay for the information Fruit so I can save the other 15 for info on 1.00?
