Idk how many times I've watched people spot shit before me solely cause they could see shit I couldn't at 2k let alone 4k.
Theres a reason I run trip 1080p for fps games its so i can spot targets faster.

If anything more fps is ideal for cod and bf as they are faster pace games.
Then again I'm a pleb at 2k rating in pubg so wtf do I know.
60fps has always been enough, I'm not saying 144 isn't better but I'll take resolution over higher fps all day everyday.

man we have very different opinions sir.. but have u actually played a fps game on 144 before? or u just cant tell the differens?
whaat are u saying u play fps games on triple monitor setup? no wonder ur friends spot players before u do haha..

I guess idk new CoD size, but WW2 took up like 120GB or something crazy like that. PUBG is also like 70.

the cod blackout BR was only 11gb iirc, my guess is full game is max 40.. pubg is 19gb tho, not 70 :O

I've played on both 60hz and 144hz.
It's nicer sure but its not fucking ground breaking nor worth the price point generally.

Having more monitors doesn't impede my vision, your focus is center screen, the sides are for peripheral vision.
Seeing movement on the sides is huge considering most won't ever see what you see, can't count how many times its saved my ass when hearing someone/something wasn't possible.

I can spectate others (pubg for example) and they can clearly see things before I do solely do to my resolution limitation.
I don't think you under stand how resolution works. So long as i'm getting 60 in games i'm ok.

But go with your 1060, I just hope he has zero plans to play newer titles or at anything above low/med settings.
Cause then I have zero idea why one wants a 144hz monitor running at 60fps or less fps 24/7.
Only to have to upgrade his most expensive part of the build.

Well that's changed since last time I updated the game then (granted almost a year ago).

well its not ground breaking no but i think its totally worth it to get 144 if u get a nice pc aswell

i think i understand resolution, well.. i have a 4k tv and have played various games on it, sure its nice, but the dip in frame rate is shit when used to 144 IMO
IMO 24" 1080p 144hz is the most optimal for fps, if u go 27"/ultrawide/2k/4k is for the viewing pleasure

but sure i agree on the priority its better to get cheap monitor and nice gpu and then upgrade the monitor later
