does it do it when the controller is plugged in?

iirc ps4 controllers use bluetooth and if you have a lot or other devices running bluetooth on at the same time it could potentially cause issues

I didnt read the article
Frankly it was taking way too long to load so i just didnt bother
All i can say is from my own personal experience with any input lag with my controllers to the ps4/ps4 pro is
You dont want anything blocking the light bar on the controller to the console
Sometimes ill recline back in my chair and my feet will kinda be in the line of sight of my controllers light bar to the front end of my console and it will cause input lag
the transmitters in the controllers are so sensitive that the tiniest thing can cause interference
Sit within 9 feet of your console/monitor and dont have anything blocking the signal your controller gives out

posted below. theres also 5-6 pages of posts saying people have the same issue, but i havent seen a solution

my controller is three feet from my ps4. i bought it used off a friend back in march because it was collecting dust. i had no issue in the beginning, its only been the past month where it is an issue. i even bought a new controller and still get the same bullshit

Intermitant Input Lag between Controller and PS4

I am having some very frustrating issues with input lag from the PS4 controller to the PS4. It will happen for 20 seconds to a minute intermitantly. Basically I will move the stick, and the screen won't respond for half a second, so there is no way to control thing when this happens.

I tried using two different controllers and I have the exact same issue. I also tried this online (KZ Shadow Fall and Battlefield 4) as well as offline (Resogun) and had the same issues. I am had wired in from the router to the PS4.

I've been doing speed tests and my ping time is always less than 20. I haven't had any issues with lag, and didn't have these issues with the PS3 at all.

Is anyone else having this issue? Any idea what I can do to resolve?

i can try when its plugged in however id prefer not because it is such a short cable...it happens after ive been playing for 30mins or so and then random intervals like it says above

its weird, it started happening right around when i bought a controller wall charger from amazon lol.

Atta boy! I told you, those little fuckers are sensitive as hell
I have those problems all the time with both my og ps4 and my pro but usually from like i said before, i will recline back in my chair and my foot/feet will “be in the way” and cause my inputs to either be delayed or all wonky
You need a clear line of sight from your controllers to your console
Anything in the middle will cause signal interference

Yea there was always a clear line, but the line was to the corner of the system, not directly at the power button lol. I guess that makes a difference

Vert sensitive indeed
