I'm planning on leveling a new alt soon which is gonna be prot pally or bdk. I enjoy both classes pretty much so i just wanna know which one would be better for mythic+ runs and later on for some raiding.

Blood DK would be the best alternative for high Mythic+ keys currently, they are pretty much the strongest tanks for that content along with DH. Pala and monk fall in the middle, still viable for high keys but they require a bit more group synergy and setup.
Warrior and druid being the weaker tanks overall, people generally tend to dodge them for high keys.

Interesting. Bear tanks were all the rage during Legion before I stopped playing, and everyone was hating on me as a dh tank, even though I outperformed most bears :rofl:

Play a class that you're comfortable with, not just because they're considered the best at the moment for whatever reason.

Someone who knows how to play their character will likely perform better than someone who decided to run with a character simply because it's the current meta.

Decided to level veng dh. Currently lvl 116 and i'm freaking loving it!

Those people who don't know how to learn you mean?

Might as well go for the META and pick DK/DH or Monk M8

I have no idea how good prot paladin is compared to the other tanks, but I tank mythics (low geared so no raiding/m+ yet) without any problems and it's great fun :P

If you are pugging keys alot its "better" to go for a DK since they dont rly need to depend on the healer to be alive. DH tank is much more mobile (and fun!) but you are depending on the healer alot more and that can be frustrating when playing with pugs

Up till +10 keys, you can tank as anything rly but no1 gonna wanna have you as Warrior or durid, Pala and monk works, and if you are DK or DH you are the ones who get picked first

DH tanks are extremely fun to play as you get a huge toolkit like ccing, stunning, mass silencing, DR, S tier moment, etc.
