This well system is pretty annoying

Found 2 wells so far soloing from 1-72 and both blew up after just 1 item put in there.

Looking for a well!

now i bought a well map, found the well and it blew up with 1 item AGAIN

About them poofing Pumpkin.
From my experience, if you start with an item much lover than your char level you can blow it immediately. I made that mistake couple of times in the beginning and it always poofed after the first one. Start with the highest item(s) you got and move gradually to lower ones... This might be the coincidence of course, but it's still logical to at least well the highest one before it pops...
