Looking to start making signatures, never done it and need a rough idea of any programs i'll need to get started, any help/guides would be much appreciated, can donate FG for a mentor if required

I also just started trying to make my own, all I have is photoshop lol but if you find anything let me know cause I'd also like to get better!

If your building any Icons or building custom text, I would do that in Illustrator, and copy over to photoshop to add effects to it, as it works better with raster effects than illustrator does.
Using textures add interest, but using them lightly is usually leads to a better composition. the texture over the seahawks logo is a little on the rough side, I would of pull the opacity back on it, the texture is almost taking over the signature.

Photoshop is crazy powerful, and most of the stuff I learn is off of video tutorials online. just dont be affraid to try new things and fail. Its how you learn and grow as a designer.

you can download a full trial version of every creative cloud app from adobe for one month.
just start playing around, watch some video tutorials and you'll quickly figure out your favourite workflow.
