How do you trade ?
When you sell something for 500fg and find a buyer in the forums. Do you then just out it up on the marketplace for 500fg?

That is correct. Mostly the seller pays the market fee unless something else is agreed upon beforehand.

Some people put their items up for 1-19 fg to avoid the fee but there is always a risk someone else snipes the item so would not recomend this.

If both players are in the same guild you can also transfer via Vault

It is also advisable to have seller and buyer on line in LS at the time of the sale,
and that you use the LS Chat to co-ordinate it.
This will greatly prevent any inadvertent purchase by another player
This is especially recommended for traders not in the same guild

One an item is placed on the MP, anyone can buy it
Many items have gone astray because the steps outlined above were not followed
