Dang... thought you would treat it like a Barb mixed with rogue vitality.
Str 55 Dex 75 Int 5 Vit 35
Pump Vita to 125 (20 start / + 75 levels = level 76) ... You have to get to level 83 to Master Quest, so more vita works... also Innate +5 Regen based on 125 vita. Rest to Dex. I personally believe more dex equals more chances of achieving a critical strike compared to ratio (equivalent str dex when using axe).
You can stick with your usual EE Weapon / Armor and Stat charm... I personally prefer Battle-axe solo' and axes in group.
Abilities:
Since I don't know the Headhunter abilities or how they charge or act, I can only say to use Retribution (solo or tanker) / Powerstrike (group with axes).
If your armor EE is high, you may not want to use retribution, in this case I would use same tier armor with dual stats... the most logical is Dex/Str, you could
also opt for either Str or Dex with either Vit (physical defense) or even Intelligence (magical defense).
If you are pure solo, you may alter your gameplay completely and use Wild Heals and pump Intelligence around 50 and rest vitality and use Str/Dex armor to compensate loss of damage. This also means Salvation as an ability choice... with my testing CS / LS with Paladin, I have only used Salvation as an ability and NOT using EE on armor, I do use Int armor while using the test charm... I don't need to regen as often as others, I do hold like 17 wellables (using EES gear) and occasionally shrine items.
Upto you, hope some of this advice was applicable.

Level 45 plate mail, +16 Vitality, +38 Intelligence, +8 Life Regen, +2% Mind Numb
Level 50 earth +20% Enhanced Effect, +4 Strength, +12 Critical Strike, +1 to 1 Life per Attack, +11% Life Steal
Level 45 wild heal +107% Enhanced Effect
This is what I use on Guardian testing QD which is only on the armor
Level 50 longsword, +120% Enhanced Effect, +3 Strength, +2 Intelligence, +2% Mind Numb
Level 55 plate mail, +56 Max Life, +14% Quick Draw
Level 40 heal, +40 Intelligence, +407 Max Life, +1% Mind Numb, +2% Power Shot
Level 45 wild heal +107% Enhanced Effect
