I think you might be intentionally misinterpreting here but in case you're not, he's saying that an INT can essentially end up being no different than punting in many cases, whereas a QB fumble will be behind the line of scrimmage 95+% of the time.

Id be willing to bet that more Ints turn into touchdowns than fumbles. Rosen threw 2 pick 6s last night. That's worse than a few fumbles.

That would actually be an interesting stat that I'd love to see - points per fumble vs points per int.

It's true tho, I can only think of a handful of strip sacks I've seen turn into a TD but Pick 6 is a phrase for a reason
