I want to buy these really nice subs from a friend
2x DC audio XL 12" subwoofers that can take 2200 RMS each
The one is dvc 1 ohm
The other is dvc 1.4 ohm
Was wondering if it would be "okay" to wire them together? assuming I'd do them parellel and just guessing would think it would come out to 1.2 ohm?
Let me know if I can use these 2 subs together still? and what the ohm load will be?

More Information:
I'm thinking i'm going to be running 2x Rockford BDCP 1500 amplifiers
My thought is that since the rockford bdcp adjusts to anything between 1ohm and 2 ohm it will be fine to run one amp to each sub
I noticed if I run them on the same amplifier from what I read it appears the lower ohm subwoofer will get more power then the higher ohm subwoofer if wired together in parrellel but since i'm planning on using 2 amplifiers I think it corrects this problem
Would a 1 ohm sub and a 1.4 ohm sub play differently if both were on different amplifiers both providing a steady 1500 rms each?
I'm thinking it should work fine... lmk

As long as the amp is 1ohm stable and the speakers aren’t overpowered by the amp at 1ohm levels, I don’t see why not. You’d just get a bit less power to the one with higher resistance.
Interesting question though. I’ve never installed an application where the speakers had different resistances.

Its not ideal but it will work fine, one might distort before the other
R = ((1.4+1.4)(1+1))/((1.4+1.4)+(1+1))
R= ((2.8)(2))/((2.8+2))
R = 1.16 ohm
