I am not native English speaker, so see if I can make myself clear.

I have 7 sets of CD-Key purchased from store (boxed game) around v1.10, and claimed only 1 set of them to my Bnet account in 2010.
And after this 8/13 update, only by re-downloading from my Bnet download page, am I able to connect Bnet with my only claimed key.

For the rest 6 sets, I first tried to claim every D2C keys I have on my alt Bnet account, and 5 of 6 said "This code has already been claimed!". so eventually only one(1) D2C key has been successfully claimed to my alt Bnet acc.
Then I tried all D2X keys, but unfortunately 6 out of 6 received "This code has already been claimed!" message.

I would like to share the followings to all dear JSP friends:

In past 2 decades, I believe I was/am a experienced PC user that's always keep my PC away from malware/trojans etc., and recently was still 7 Boxed by sandboxie.
Other than lagged out/re-open the game, Never in my 17 years as a D2 player have seen such "Your CDKEY is currently used by XXXX" message!

And EVEN if I missed, the possibility of 11/12 CDKeys I brought home from game-shops in the mall got ALL stolen is nearly 0.00%.
For I am storing all 7 keys splited among 3 e-mail backup folders with all differently passworded(timely changed every year).

In conclusion, quote another victim posted on Bnet forum
"If I am asked to pay another 10 dollars for a game I've played 17 years free, so be it."

Peace.

I totally get you. I play 10 years now, never had trouble. Now my Keys were "used" too. Had to buy a new key, cause i never registered them on my blizz account. Best of: No shop in my city had the game, i had to buy it from blizzard itself, which were some euros more then at the store.
Ofc you can say "why you dont register your game" but i saw a lot ppl who had to buy new keys and it pissed me off.
Have fun with your new money, blizz -_-

It's generators dude.... it has nothing to do with how you personally stored the keys. You clearly are not an "experienced" PC user if you can't figure something like this out.

People have been randomly generating and using CD keys that are not theirs for 20 years now. You had some bad luck with that many all being used, but it's bound to happen and it's why you need to register your keys if you want to keep them.

I dont think I like your tone of defining whether I am experienced PC user or not, and you clearly are not able to talk like adult, but it doesn't matter.

I know exactly how keygen works, and basically the conclusion here suggests me just keep trying to reg a randomly generated key to bnet account.

Wasn't suggesting anything, I was plainly stating that you clearly don't know what you're talking about to be rambling on and on about your security via multiple emails and such. Not trying to attack you, but it's silly when people try to talk about how savvy they are and then immediately contradict that statement with every single thing they say.

Register your keys if you don't want them being stolen... It's a shitty update that fucked over a lot of people like yourself who paid for legitimate copies of the game. Buy a new set of keys, you can get them from Blizzard for $20, or you can buy them from other sites for $10 or less. Just make sure you register them and you won't have this problem again.

The conclusion here is not that you go randomly generate a key and register it, unless you'd rather spend countless hours trying to find a working key vs dropping $20. Just spend the $20 and register it immediately, if the key you purchased doesn't work, let them know immediately and as long as you're purchasing from Blizzard, they'll give you another one.

Thank you for replying my post.
I know it is lame to mention how safe I am and it could be completely false, but when I say I dont like your tone is because I was simply mad at this stupid update and your first reply was aggressive like you're employed by them.

Calling me "Unexperienced" won't make you any smarter.
The above conclusion I stated was purely against your reply.
It is NOT the generator, but either Blizz insider steal/ban/disqualify on purpose OR system bugged.

6132610415680998648961
this is the total number of combinations out of 16 digits CDKEY, and even ruled out with validation rules, installable Keys will still be no smaller than 1/100000 of this quantity.
Seems you're not good at math so lets make this more simple for you by cutting 5 digits off the tail.

61326104156809986
This is number of combinations a Keygen can get you.

4000000
This is briefly number of Diablo2 copies sold so far 2018, which officially databased Bnet available Keys wouldn't be more than 2-3 times of this, lets say 10000000.

so do you feel your stupidity of stating : Keygen got my Legit CDKEY and used it in registration of another Bnet acc?

For the rest of your reply, thank you again but you probably need to read forum with presbyopic glasses before replying.
As I stated in the very first reply, if it's the another 10 dollars I have to pay, so be it, peace.

It did this to my 16 digit I had registered to my bnet account.

It auto changed to a 26.

Delete diablo and diablo 2

Go to your battle net account

Reinstall diablo and use the new key they have on your bnet account

The. Reinstall expansion and use the new key they gave you for that.

You don't understand the difference in total possibilities vs ones that have actually been created and activated for use by Blizzard. Thia keeps getting better and better.

Okay bud, all three of your emails were hacked, you're a super genius with super smart security procedures which is why none of your keys work and none of us are having problems.
