How many times do we have to say no one puts gear up that costs over 20fg. Why lose a fee upfront if something doesn’t sell? Make a trade post and check other people’s is the way to go!
It would be 1000x easier for a new player if the marketplace was flooded with usable items though opposed to the odd 100+ ee weapon if you're lucky
I think now with vault sucking up a ton of fg the community can afford to give up the upfront fee in place of the standard 5% fee after purchase. There's also incentive not to leave items to rot on the market with them getting deleted if you forget about them
