No, it doesn't. There is no necessary correlation between the number of people who like something and how good or bad it is.

Case #1- McDonald's is very popular and absolutely terrible.
Case #2- Studying Quantum Mechanics is not very popular, but it is a great thing.
Case #3- Eating feces is an unpopular thing, and it is also a terrible thing.
Case #4- Friendship is a popular thing and it is also great.

What these 4 cases prove is that being popular and/or good may coexist or they may not. There not necessarily any connection between them. Your original argument that RP1 is good because "people like it" is not a sound argument.

Did it make more money? From more people liking it?

Just wondering like if people like it and it did well in the box office? Then it did good right? People on here are up tight it seems so why is your opinion so special lol its not

Probably. But again, being profitable doesn't prevent something from being bad. McDonald's is both profitable and bad.

I agree that that statement is pretty central to the discussion.

example: Troll 2 is an absolutely TERRIBLE movie, probably the worst of all-time and I absolutely LOVE it. It's one of the few movies I will go out of my way to share with my friends and family.

Being able to differentiate those things might be help this discussion move in the right direction.

Hey I said lets move on ages ago. I also said I made this to get movie ideas which has worked I did download 3 movies because of this post.

A quiet place (it was okay)
Captain america civil war gonna give it a go
And were he roams or something forget it atm

This post was not made to be a troll post I guess I just assumed people were into these movies lol I did not put much work into my list and I was on painkillers at the time so I dont feel ashamed.
