If I get disconnected from the internet in an area with aggressive monsters, does it remove me from the game..? Or will I be fighting them till my character dies?

Well if I end up in lumbridge when I wake up tomorrow I’m gonna be kind of pissed seeing as I’ll lose some of my rune gear.
