No action is required imo. Organised religion and enforced spirituality has been doomed since the advent of the internet. As the world’s population becomes more connected and educated, these infantile practices will be generally treated with increasing ridicule and contempt - this is already occurring in most Western countries.

Assuming that humans only continue to move forward(Like no serious digression from progress), it probably won't ever be eradicated honestly.

The only way is if science could be 100% proven. It can't be. There are a lot of evidences but also a lot of missing links.

The same could be asked about evolution. Only when one of the religions could be proven true, then maybe it would be eradicated.
That is still a big MAYBE. Because people still believe what they want, even with 100% proven facts right in front of them.

The easiest way to do it would be a multinational psyops conspiracy. Spray scopolamine from planes, use sound cannons to blast an 18.98hz infrasonic wave over all major population centers, then have military jets that look like some type of UFO descend on all of the population centers simultaneously emitting a communication in every known human language that they are the harbingers of the one true God, and that all religions on earth are false. Make sure all mass media is in on the conspiracy to make people believe the "aliens" are actually "rapturing" people or whatever. The US and Russia would have to be working together to make sure it was successful.
