It's a problem in terms of appearances... but unless you want the FBI to monitor the private communications of every agent working on a political investigation, you're going to have to accept that those guys and gals might have negative opinions of the people they are investigating.

I don't know what you mean on the last point.

It's pretty obvious his political opinions got the best of him and he was acting o them in some capacity. He was not impartial in his role. That's dangerous from ANY political angle.

I don't know how to explain my last line. It's pretty straight forward.

i gave you the IG report to read. you come back with statements from other ppl...
these statements are obviously a bit misleading, if you even read the quotes i gave you. they are directly in contradiction.
I have to get going to work, but i'll respond better to this when i get back.

i suggest you come up with more than this, this will be easy to dismantle.

..........
Horowitz wrote the IG report you dummy! Chris wray is the director or the FBI and confirmed the IGs statements!

Prioritizing a serious national security investigation(at it's infancy) over a mostly nothingburger email investigation(at it's conclusion) doesn't strike me as unreasonable. Absent the text messages on his work phone, Horowitz wouldn't have shit on him.

You'll have to be more specific.

You're both using and not using hindsight.

you're using hindsight in saying the HRC investigation and wiener laptop aspect specifically were nothing burgers.

you're not using hindsight in ignoring that Trump hasn't been linked to any collusion thusfar that shows he's a national security risk.

strzok buried the wiener laptop development in the hopes it wouldn't break until after election day, and he missed it by about a week. ironically he could have released it when it was first found out and it would have fizzled by election day, and they'd have verified that all of the emails found on the laptop were already given to the FBI.

there's no good reason to bury the wiener laptop aspect of the case, if anything he should have prioritized it to make sure they already had all the emails in question to kill the story. Strzok fucked up, and the only logical explanation is he did it with bias.

you watch fox news to be "informed"

it's funny how much you can deduce about someone from that alone

At least Fox news actually has a news division that reports without commentary for part of the day. Everything on CNN and MSNBC is commentary. At least Fox has a lefty on with his own show.

Except all the details that the news side of Fox still leaves out to build a positive narrative for Republican administrations.

Shepard Smith is far from friendly towards Republican. Brett is pretty good but prioritizing stories does occur. I'll give you that. But much of that is probably crossover between research teams in commentary and newsrooms. Story selection is practiced by all though, they all pick and choose. And for some reasons, those picked stories tend to be anti-Trump 90% of the time.

shep truly is a good argument against Fox Bias, but he also seems like a Token given he's the only one like him on the network. Wouldn't even compare him to Brett, althought Brett can be more tough on the right than most other Fox anchors.
