Prioritizing a serious national security investigation(at it's infancy) over a mostly nothingburger email investigation(at it's conclusion) doesn't strike me as unreasonable. Absent the text messages on his work phone, Horowitz wouldn't have shit on him.
You'll have to be more specific.
You're both using and not using hindsight.
you're using hindsight in saying the HRC investigation and wiener laptop aspect specifically were nothing burgers.
you're not using hindsight in ignoring that Trump hasn't been linked to any collusion thusfar that shows he's a national security risk.
strzok buried the wiener laptop development in the hopes it wouldn't break until after election day, and he missed it by about a week. ironically he could have released it when it was first found out and it would have fizzled by election day, and they'd have verified that all of the emails found on the laptop were already given to the FBI.
there's no good reason to bury the wiener laptop aspect of the case, if anything he should have prioritized it to make sure they already had all the emails in question to kill the story. Strzok fucked up, and the only logical explanation is he did it with bias.
