I currently have this monitor
https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824011162

I want a 2nd monitor so I can multi-task while gaming. I am looking for one under $150, or even under $125 if possible.

I'm not sure if my computer's performance would be affected if I get one with less refresh rate. I tried plugging in a 2nd screen that I used for my laptop, and it was really laggy.

damn that's cheap for a 144hz monitor.
Tho i had bad experience with TN as secondary monitors. Since you don't sit right in front of it like the main monitor.
TN has horrible viewing angles.

seems overkill for a secondary monitor
you can get a random IPS one for under $100
