Hello guys.

In this month started to have problem with my laptop.
Problem : Whenever i wants to play its just restart itself, as soon i log to the character example. My laptop is acer predator g9-793. I didnt change nothing only updated the Nvidia geforce.

Please help me

What game?
Does it happen with all games or just one?
Did problem start... right after you upgraded driver?

the game is Tera online.

No its started end of July when I updated the Nvidia, I did some back up to the previous one and still didn't work at all and keep restart itself from that.

The acer community and supports doesn't really helping they just saying send my laptop to America to change my cpu and gpu...

...simply install it...and run the program...then post a screen shot of the main page of the program, when posting a problem/question on these forums.

Now we are gonna update your vid card driver, the right way...

DDU Instructions - Nvidia
1. Get this program, here: https://www.wagnardsoft.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1174 ...get the latest version, and save it to your desktop.
2. Get your vid card driver here, use the Manual Search: http://www.geforce.com/drivers ...save this to your desktop.
3. Run DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) choose the "Highly Recommend Option", and just do what it tells you. If it wants to go into "Safe Mode", let it.
4. After it's done and comp has rebooted to normal mode, just double click the Nvidia driver to install. If it want's to reboot, let it.

Your temps are fine. It sounds like you need to run a basic stress testing program to rule out cooling, but it looks fine. I would think this is a driver/program issue. Have you reinstalled the game yet?

Just use DDU and reinstall the vid card driver.


/e Problem started end of July when you updated the driver. It's probably just a corrupted vid card driver.


/ee Once we know the vid card drivers is installed properly, then we can see if the problem still exists.

Yes ghot. It could be driver related.

But online games such as that have constant incremental updates. Corrupted files are common and a reinstall of that usually fixes the issue. Booting up a corrupted install can and will lock up the system or force a crash reboot very easily.

I know. But problem started when he updated driver. So that's the first place to look.
