I bought the b1 for like $50, oh well, it's over with, and it will do! haha

I'm gonna get that one (:

Since I have never had an SSD before, do I also need to buy a mounting bracket / any extra wires for this?

Naw you should be fine. SSDs aren't like hard drives. even if you don't have the mounting hardware, which should've come with the case or the SSD, a piece of double stick tape will work fine.

So true. When ever I upgrade a build for some one. Like 80% of the times there is no 2.5" mounting places. I always use double-sided tape for that :D
Other than that it uses the same power connector and sata cables a regular HDD uses.

Edit: Well use the SATA cables you get with your motherboard. If you have an old system now, there is a chance the SATA cable(s) are v2.0, it would bottleneck the SSD.
