Fortnite should not be using up that much of your CPU, it can be played on mobile phones...
Have you tried re-installing it to make sure there's no file corruption within the game?
What settings are you playing the game at?
Is the CPU reaching temps over 75 while gaming?
/e You don't have it installed on the firecuda do you?

I tend to play on high/medium settings just to ensure it runs smoothly. I will try to reinstall it tonight. I don’t think my CPU runs that hot while playing but will have to check and it’s installed on my SSD.

Just to verify, the fans on the radiator are still spinning right? (dead fans could cause thermal throttling).
Also, have you cleaned the dust out of your case at some point in the last 6mo-year?

Here is a screen shot of my Task Manager while in game. The fans are all spinning and has been dusted within this month. I do have my fan curve set to quiet though, could this be causing the issue?

That's a horrible screenshot. Can't even see what's using the last 30% CPU.
Also we need clock speed and temperatures.

Download these two programs:
Nzxt CAM: https://www.nzxt.com/camapp (I always have this running on my gaming system)
CPU-Z https://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html

Sorry for the rather large pictures. I have 3000x2000 screen on my laptop.

Did re-installing help at all? Those temps aren't high enough to cause thermal throttling, especially on the CPU. Have you made sure all drivers are up to date? (cpu, mobo, gpu, etc)
