I've focused on black and blue only (and RGB, which you can set to static blue color)
1,25 TB SSD (250GB NVME)
Love the new Ryzen series. The price per performance is quite amazing. (I'm currently running 2x Ryzen system in my home). Intel is still the king for gaming, not that Ryzen is bad at all here.
There is also no need to go x470 this generation, only if you wanna do multiple GPU systems.

Lower cache lateency and higher boost clock speed with x470 iirc.

Case, mouse, and keyboard all have RGB, so you can set to blue or any other color you'd like.
Not sure how intensive tasks you do, if you REALLY need more power you could upgrade to a Ryzen 2700 and an x470 board.
If you game at all, you could upgrade to a better GFX card, but if not, there's really no point.

Not true both chipsets support XFR2 this generation. As long the MOSFETs is sufficient on the motherboard.
You just can't run SLI or Crossfire (Who in their right mind would choose 2 mid performing cards in 2018), four less USB 3.1 gen2 and other shit a normal consumer wont need.

Dafuq why do you wanna cheap out?

You picked a case without a glass side panel?
You picked one of the worst performing SSD? with 10MB/s 4k random mixed IO. That's one shitty SSD controller.

Bronze rated PSU when the man has a 2000$ budget?
Did he mention he even needed a WIFI card?

At least I like the RAM you picked, even tho they are not blue for his build ^_^

In day to day use, the difference in speed between those SSD's will be fractions of a second... I've used the ADATA one, and I can't even tell a difference between that and my 960 Evo in anything that isn't 1+ GB file transfers or opening large application (gimp, CAD).
The case I'll admit that was my bad, was supposed to just be the TG option. Other than that, I don't really see the point in spending more if it's nothing he's going to utilize. My old bottom of the barrel corsair 80+ bronze is 7 or 8 years old and still running my OC'd 8320 and 7870 without issue.
I always throw the wifi card in as a nice option because they are incredibly convenient IMO. Only thing he gave me to go off was watching pron and general multitasking. If that just means lots of tabs, it could be accomplished with an Intel Pentium and 16gb ram with an SSD no prob.

I'm not talking about peak speed with large files. I'm talking general OS and new games etc. Would benefit from the almost 4x times faster 4kb random mixed IO.
I had an Kingston SSDNOW V+200 (about the same performance as SU650) before in my server. Got 20%ish faster boot time and over double as fast scan time in my library changing to an MX300.
I've also seen white rated PSU stil running after 10 years. It's about the efficiency and the build quality.

But indeed we are both entitled to our opinions.
Tho he has a 2000$ budget, not sure why he should cheap out.
