Honestly. I hate to admit I have not seen Moneyball yet. I feel a little ashamed about it actually being a fan of baseball, I just keep on skipping it. Going to have to see it.
While the movie is entertaining, the whole basis of what the process is supposed to be is misleading. They don't take into account the 3 headed monster pitching rotation. Its not even mentioned in the movie and i think you see the back of barry zitos jersey once. Also, all the specific statistics that bean desires are skewed because tejada and another player (blanking on name) were mvp quality and didn't follow his analytical plan.
The whole premise of this movie/book being based off a true story is bullshit.
Pitt and hill were excellent though.
